Cyprus; Cycle across the Barriers

The 3rd of Cycle across the Barriers that has been organized since 2010 will be held from April 16 to April 26. The journey is going to start from the Ap. Andreas Monastery at the East end of Karpaz and finish in the Akamas Peninsula in the West

A small group of bicycle enthusiasts launched this adventure in 2010 by cycling 400km across the island. With the support of new groups and the participation of new people, this challenging bicycle trip has become a cheerful activity today. The Home for Cooperation, Hackney Cypriot Association, Civil Servant Union, Famagusta Youth Center and MYCYradio as the main supporters of this year’s journey are inviting more Cypriots and non-Cypriots alike to cycle together and discover the blue and the green of the Mediterranean!

You may participate in the whole ten-day cycle journey or you may join just a part of it where and when you want. At each stop, there will be different accommodation options; you can choose camping or you can choose to stay in an agreed place.
